Scion was born as an idea in the U.S. in 2001. That idea was to build a brand that connects with a new generation of drivers in an inspiring and authentic way. A brand that was different by design and a vehicle for self-expression. Scion was launched in 2003 in the state of California and quickly expanded to the rest of the U.S. in 2004. From there it expanded to Canada in the fall of 2010, where it continues to stand apart and push boundaries.
